Description
The PropOne Propeller Foul Release Coating Kit is formulated with a silicone polymer that results in a long-lasting slick surface when immersed in water. Its inherently low surface energy prevents organisms from sticking to the surface components permanently immersed in water. This helps increase speed and lowers fuel consumption, compared with a craft that has fouled surfaces.
Why Use Foul Release Coating?
Foul release coating has unique self-cleaning properties, making it easier to maintain and last longer than anti-foul paint
No build-up of copper or other toxic biocide residues can happen in marinas and harbours where the foul release is used.
Unlike biocidal antifouling paints, these coatings can be used in both fresh and saltwater as the physical properties and performance of the paint are not altered by variations in salinity.
PropOne relies on its slick surface and the force of flowing water over this surface, meaning barnacles, tubeworms, weeds, slime, bryozoans, zebra mussels and other growth will struggle to stick onto your running gear
